Older style window frames and non-insulated glass allow energy to easily pass.
Q. Do I have to replace all my windows at once?
A. If your goal is to have maximum energy saving then yes, however, it is not required. Replacing even a few windows at a time will help to reduce your energy cost
Q. Is all replacement window glass the same?
A. No. Several options are given such as Low-E glass, Argon gas, Krypton gas, and double pane or triple pane. Each option offers various levels of energy efficiency.
Q. What is the best window frame material?
A. When choosing a material for your window frames you should always look for the best combination of strength, durability, insulating properties, and ease of maintenance.
Q. What is the NFRC and why does it matter?
A. NFRC stands for the National Fenestration Research Council. NFRC is a Nonprofit organization that provides the only uniform, impartial, independent rating system for windows and doors.

Q. What is U-Value
A. The U-Value of the window refers to the rate of heat transfer, the lower the U-Value, the Better! For energy-efficiency tax credits, the U-Value must be .30 or less.
Q. What is Low-E
A. Low-E is a type of glass surface that emits or radiates low energy making it energy efficient.
Q. How long does the installation take?
A. Most replacement window project can be completed within 1-2 days. Depending on the type of windows being installed and type being removed. Trim work and cleanup will require additional time.

Q. Will the replacement windows be installed from the inside or outside?
A. In most instances’ replacement windows are installed from the outside, but in some circumstances, it may be necessary to install from the inside. Your window installer will assess your situation and explain the best process for your home
